Bacon & Gruyère

This was my first burger with Gruyere cheese, and that cheese took it to another level,
great taste!


Built on a brioche bun, French’s mustard, lettuce, single smashed patty of coarsely ground chuck steak 100 gr / 0.26 lb topped with Gruyere cheese, smoked bacon, onion and Hellmans mayo.

This was a great bacon ‘n cheese burger!



Built on a brioche bun starting with Hellmans mayo, lettuce, 2×85 gr / 0,19 lb smashed coarsely ground chuck steak with cheddar cheese, bacon, onion and French’s mustard.

Halloumi burger

My first vegetarian burger and I have to say it was really good and fresh.

Started the build on a brioche bun with a guacamole made of avocado, olive oil, lemon juice and a pinch of salt ‘n black pepper, then one patty of halloumi cheese topped with grilled red pepper and another patty of halloumi topped with a slice of tomato, red onion and bbq sauce.

Unpacked the new deep fryer today and went on cooking, I didn’t get that really crispy result i was aiming for though.

I cut the fries and let them soak in hot water for about 15 minutes, then pre-fried them for about 4-5 minutes at 160 *C / 320 *F until they were soft and had not yet turned golden brown. After that I let them cool and then fried them again at 180 *C / 356 *F for another 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
